To tell the truth, I never really liked my old homepage. Wait, that's an understatement. I despised it. It was difficult to use, plain and yucky. And today, I had a great idea. I decided to redo my it. So here it is... Hope you like it.

I'm Lewin Hodgman, and I'm from Australia. This is my website, which I've been maintaining for quite some time now, since I was about 11.
I like to program things, mainly free things to help other people, although I am doing some work type programming too. My website is made up of lots of sections, and this page is designed to help you find the one that you want.

Knights and Merchants Stuff	Very Active	Knights and Merchants is an RTS game made in 1998. There is a huge on line comunity from a wide range of countries doing a wide range of things. I've been doing stuff for the KaM comunity since mid 2007, and my projects include the mission editor, LIB (text) editor, mission sharing site, music and many other things.
IP Address Mapping	Active	This page shows location statistics, including a map, of the IP addresses who visit my site.
Crazy Penguins	Inactive	Crazy Penguins is a mod for LieroX, which is an arcade style game. Although I haven't totally given up on this project, I'm not really maintaining it.
Lewin Pongs	Inactive	This is an clone of that old arcade game, pong. So of course I had to call it Lewin Pongs! There are quite a few bugs, and it's not brilliant but still, if you like simple, old fashioned games then you might like this one.
Choose Your Own Adventure Game	Abandoned	This one never really worked too well. I put a lot of effort into it, but people don't find games interesting when there is a lot of reading and not many images. Still, it greatly improved my spelling and PHP knowledge.
RPM Repository	Abandoned	This is another fail. Although I've been using Linux all my life, (my first computer of my own ran Linux, and I am writing this page on a Ubuntu machine right now) my knowledge of how it all works underneath is quite limited, and a good RPM repository needs to be constantly maintained. As a result the RPMs are poorly built, and only compatible with 4 year old versions of Linux.

The GIMP	The GIMP is an open source, free image editor, much like Photoshop. I have used to do everything from making animated GIFs for the website, to creating the images for my KaM editor. It is extremely powerful and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for an image editor
Lazarus	Lazarus is the IDE I use to make applications. (KaM tools, Lewin Pongs, etc.) It is basically a free, open source clone of Delphi with much the same interface and structures. If you want to get into programming but think Delphi is too expensive then Lazarus is perfect for you.
Quanta Plus	Just about all of the PHP and HTML on my site has been made with Quanta, the open source web development application for KDE. I find it an extremely powerful tool, especially good for project management. However, it only runs on Linux so unless you're a bit of a Linux nerd like me then it probably won't be much good for you.
Cool Text	This is a free program which will run in your web browser and let you make professional graphics. I used it for the splash screen for my KaM mission editor, as well as at various spots on this website. (such as this page) It is extremely useful and will even export as a native GIMP file! (.XCF)
